Duncan Robertson

Duncan Robertson

My name is Duncan Robertson, and I’m proud to be joining RSRC as a coach for the 2025/2026 season.

I’ve spent over 20 years immersed in the game of rugby—playing at a high level across South Africa and Europe. I represented Western Province in rugby league and played three seasons of Ereklasse rugby here in the Netherlands. Rugby has been at the core of my life, and it’s shaped not only how I play, but how I lead, compete, and grow with a team.

Last season, I stepped into coaching and had the privilege of leading Gouda Rugby Club to a championship in my first year. That experience confirmed my belief in what passion, discipline, and team culture can achieve—and I’m bringing that same energy and ambition to RSRC.

I’m here to make an impact. I bring fire, intensity, and a deep love for the game. I believe in building players up, creating strong units, and pushing limits—on and off the field. Together with the RSRC family, I’m ready to help take this club to the next level.

Cameron Stewart

Hi, I’m Cameron Stewart 37 years old born in East London (South Africa) been involved with rugby since I was 6, moved to the Netherlands in 2000. Mostly played rugby for RRC and Sparta, started coaching when I was 24, had to stop because of an injury. The last couple of years as a coach I have been successful, made RRC champions of the 1st Class, made Gouda champions of the 3rd and 2nd class.

I’m a back line coach that has great vision and ideas on how to attack and defend, I enjoy teaching/guiding players on the how,why and when. Individually and team improvement has always been a big part of my coaching. “Work hard play smarter” has been something I have always believed in and hope to bring this over to the boys as well.
